At 150$ a month you better see some progress... what exactly do you get out of this?

It says analyses of your games, how? And how many games?

These live sessions, how do they work? Can you ask questions or is it just like a lecture?

A few students have left comments regarding the program here:

We have been giving emailed feedback on one game per student so far but we plan on increasing this to more in the near future. Live sessions are interactive lessons. A few may be more lecture-like, but a majority are actual lessons. We teach and train our students. You can't just sit back and relax during lessons; you are expected to be fully engaged and should try to answer all the questions we ask.

I have received your message and will get back to you within two days. I have too many messages to reply to at this time. :)

Saaw fahnny!

ADDENDUM: 5 years of this course equals 12 times $150 = 9k dollars. Is it worth it? Actually, probable. Wink

As I am 1550+ now, then in three years I will be a CM :) Great stuff. If it only took me to 2000 I'd be happy.

What I miss is really a continous program, being supported by other students and teachers to keep the motivation. So on paper this sounds like the perfect thing for me. I am though a bit skeptic to the lack of information on what you actually get and also the price being that high. Analyses of ones games are perhaps the most important thing for progress, so 1 game a month isnt much.

I tried the chessmasterschool which is based on the same idea. I bought the full material for a year. It had a lot of pdfs and some fuzzy promises on support from teachers and so on, I ended up just reading a few pages of the material. Of course I should have done more, but its a challenge to hang on when there is nothing scheduled and no one that push you.

I will give this a try.
