"Tick Tock"

that dang "tick tock" comment always "ticks" me off.  Sometimes I get mad and wait as long as possible on purpose.  I know that's not cool but don't dang "tick tock" me after 3 minutes.  Sorry, needed to rant a little.

I look at it like this.  If you expect someone to move every few minutes when it is a 3 day time limit you picked the wrong game.

I must admit, I haven't had that happen yet, but I certainly see your point.  I would probably respond as though it didn't bother me with something like, "Yes, the clock is definitely ticking, and in 2 days and 23 hours it will run out on me if I can't figure out what to do by then."

I would respond, "what is that timer thing for that runs out in 3 days?" 

I was just wondering how others felt about that.  Am I the only one that has had that happen?

i have it happen all the time playing poker online.  i just want to reach through the computer and slap the dude who keeps typing "zzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

 I always reply "wake uuuuup!" lol

I didn't think about other online games.  Interesting....

Could it be that your opponent is just trying to make 'small tock' ? Remember: once you disable chat, you can't enable it again! (I think).

I had one guy who kept typing "move... move... mooooooooooooove"

Now that I think of it, it sounds like a cow!

On pokerstars, when it's your turn, you have 10 seconds, then a reminder beep, then a 60 second time bank.  If you still don't go, it folds your hand.  But, there are people who start the "zzzzzzzzzzzz" after 5 seconds.  When I get one of those, I use all my alotted time, because I kow it bothers them.  lol.

The time controls were agreed upon before the game began.The best course of action is to take as much time as necessary to crush the whiner.
