Vacation time is a con. Nobody needs it. If it was for an emergency then you would not bother about losing a game of chess alternatively if you were on actual holiday then relaxing and playing chess seems a likely way of proceeding. If you look at the pages of complaints on deaf ears it just adds to the frustration of this place.

Vacation time? I know it’s ok to pause the game if something comes up, but I’m on month 6 in a 1 day per move game. That’s ridiculous! And yes they are loosing.

Max vacation bank is 90 days, with 5 days added per month. So, max time taken would be 105 days (3.5 months or so).
Your opponent only has 4 days of vacation left. You could report the game for vacation abuse if that much vacation has been used, or you could wait a few more days.
