Apparently I most resemble Lasker, though Alekhine, Capa and Fischer weren't far behind Undecided Shame Reshevsky and Marshall aren't on the list - wudda felt more comfy with either of them Smile

Mikhail Tal (November 9, 1936 – June 28, 1992)was a Soviet-Latvian chess player, a Grandmaster, and the eighth World Chess Champion. He was often called "Misha" (a diminutive for Mikhail) and also "The magician from Riga" for his daring combinational style. Both The Mammoth Book of the World's Greatest Chess Games (Burgess, Nunn & Emms 2004) and Modern Chess Brilliancies (Evans 1970) include more games by Tal than any other player. Tal was also a highly-regarded chess writer.

Emanuel Lasker (December 24, 1868 – January 11, 1941) was a German chess player, mathematician, and philosopher who was World Chess Champion for 27 years. In his prime Lasker was one of the most dominant champions, and he is still generally regarded as one of the strongest players ever.

Alexander Alexandrovich Alekhine(October 31, 1892 – March 24, 1946) was the fourth World Chess Champion. At the age of twenty-two he was already among the best chess players in the world. During the 1920s, he won most of the tournaments in which he played. In 1927, he became the fourth World Chess Champion by defeating Capablanca, widely considered invincible, in one of the longest matches ever held up until that time.

Robert James "Bobby" Fischer (March 9, 1943 – January 17, 2008) was a chess Grandmaster, and the eleventh World Chess Champion. Born an American citizen, later in life he renounced his US citizenship and received Icelandic citizenship. As a teenager, Fischer became famous as a chess prodigy. In 1972, he became the first, and so far the only, American to win the official World Chess Championship defeating defending champion Boris Spassky, of the Soviet Union, in a match held in Reykjavík, Iceland. The match was widely publicized as a Cold War battle. He is often referred to as one of the greatest chess players of all time.
