Ragequitters leave even in beginning of matches

People keep quitting even in the beginning of the match. When they lose a knight, bishop, or even feel cornered with me ready to slay their queen, they smash that resign button. I'm not a great player, I'm at the bottom of the barrel and I still like to play even when I'm losing, I allow my opponent the grace to slay my men to the last piece. But not so for others when I'm the one dominating. They need stricter penalty to force opponents to wait longer before they can play a match again to teach them a lesson. I just want to play, not watch my opponent cry and leave.

I resign less because I know that there is a tiny chance that my opponent will blunder.
