random rating gain?

In the past, and now recently, I have experienced a random gain of rating points. I just recently received a random 11 rating points. My recent games do not account for it, and as far as I can tell, there is no reason why I should have gotten them. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, does anyone know why it happens?
If you lost to someone who got banned for fair play you get your rating refunded when they get banned
