thats super weird, idk why thats happening but chess.com has been rlly glitchy for me recently
chess.com auto-resigns if you take too long to move but you moved in 6 seconds so idk...

The "abort" button changes to the "resign" once both sides have played their move. You may have accidentally clicked resign since you can't abort after Black plays their move.

u spammed button and after it changed from abort to resign u were still clicking so it thought u resigned u prob have auto resign

i played 1.d4 and decided to abort cuz the wifi was bad. suddenly after i had pressed the abort button *to no avail* he made his move and i premoved my move, although the times starting flashing for both sides and it took me 10 seconds to make my premove. then it said i had lost by resignation
