Rapid randomness white vs black

Been playing Rapid since August 7th played 992 games in total. I’ve played white 480 times and black 512 times. Never played a rematch regardless if I won or lost. Any ideas why I’ve played Black more? Not complaining because for whatever reason I win slightly more playing black. Barely above 500% player at this time though slowly improving 🤓

The pairing system gives black to the player more due black, as I understand it. Unless you've previously played an opponent, when you should get the opposite color. So, you could be getting unlucky and are getting paired with members that are more out of balance than you.
Over the long haul, it should even out.
