i tilt less than a 100, maybe 10-75 max nowadays
Rating Improvement Pattern- is this normal?
i reach peak, tilt a lot, make up for it and lose multiple more times and tilt even more
and get back to my peak
and that takes a few months
the higher u r, the more u tilt i guess
The frequency increases I guess
time to tilt 806 all the way to 1 ELO to show that i am higher up cuz i tilted more

haha
i was 670 in blitz and i tilted all the way to 400 in a few days and was 400 for 2 months, i played more blitz and now im rating is up to 700

you thought i was joking, werent you?
Okay, I'm 90% sure that this is normal. But I'm just too paranoid about it.
First I start playing
1. I get to my peak(this happened to me at 1040ish)
2. I dread rating loss and play very very very carefully with a lot of stress(me too)
3. One loss. I play another game to make up for it. I LOSE(yeah)
4. I play again with no break just trying everything to bring back the rating points I lost in those 2 games(i did have some break)
5. Massive tilt of 100 points. wow. *goes to forums and digs old threads on how to stop tilts(40 points, and kinda does the same)
6. 3 day break from chess.(yeah,same,but)
7. plays but still tilts. Decides a bigger break is needed.(true)
8. 2 days later, Plays games with a win rate of 50% against current rating range opponents. bit(same with me, but i continued 3 day breaks)
9. plays like that a few days, steadily recovers a little bit.(me too)
10. steadily improves over the months, enjoys chess and plays with less stress.(happening)
11. once I've recovered like half of my rating loss by the massive tilt, ABSOLUTELY SUPERB WINS! BASHES A STRONGER PLAYER ABOUT 200 points, sweeps off a player of his rating easily, and hits a new peak!(future?)
12. And the whole list all over again forever.(i kinda had this before, but not really)
umm, is this how most player's rating improves? Or, am I doing something terribly wrong in my chess study?
nope, the brackets are my experience
