Rating sudden drop?

My rating was skyrocketing up with 400+ rating in 2 months, but now suddenly my rating stops at 700, and then I start playing worse, making my ratings 604, a rating I could once easily beat, so what happened to me, and is this common?
please do shower me with any comments, and any tips on how not get back on track to increasing my performance.
