rating

I set my rating for exemple 1300 min to 1400 max. And I received 1575 player. I do not want to play with  higher player. so I abort the game.  Then I received notice not to abort the game. Why the rating I set and save does not work?

I'll give you a couple of links.  I believe the problem is that for the "system" to match you, your current rating has to be within the limits of your seek and include a range at least 25 points either side of it.  If your rating is 1461 (current live standard) and you set from 1300 to 1400 then the system ignores you and you have to wait for a challenger to manually select you.
