Hey, I know that this topic has been discussed around bad chess days, which I feel like everyone has suffered from. I have been having really bad chess days for a week and a half now and I dont know what to do anymore. About 2 weeks ago, I started studying chess rigoresly for a local tournament that I wanted to do well in and improved a lot since I was just playing chess for fun and had stoped studying it for 6 months before that. After the tournament in which I placed 1st, I had a morale boost to start imroving at chess again, but ever since I won the tournament I have lost about 150 elo and have been on a really rough losing streek every time I try playing chess. Things that were trivial to me before I am finding a way to mess them up (or example I just messed up a queen endgame with 4 pawns each being a knight up and losing) and I dont know what to do at this point anymore. I feel like this week I have hit rock bottom for my time playing chess motivation wise, and I cant even motivate myself to play anymore even tough I really want to, because all I do is fail at my games misrably. I just wanted to ask if any of you have any tips if you have gone trough this before. Should I just stop playing chess for a month or some sort of break time? Any sugestions/tips would be incredibly helpfull.
