I go through the same thing.I get on a streak and when I try to repeat what worked before gets turned on me and I play lousy.

The first 3 years of chess, I thought I played some good games, but since then I know I've never played a good game. I'm awful.
I'm never going to be a master. It would be fun to be a 1700-1800 here. Maybe even higher. I don't know. But jeez, I get on a little streak where I seem to be playing well, and then the streak reverses and bam, I'm playing lousy... that's it...
