I have no issues with the current set-up.
A handful of times opponents had to leave (for whatever reasons) and I don’t have any issues accepting the draw unless it’s a tournament game. I don’t overly care for internet points.
I have had sparring sessions in past were my training partner is changing diapers on their end lol
So we all have family and sometimes something comes up during a chess game. It's early in the game first ten moves say and it's drawn or even winning for you, but you have to offer a draw and you have to resign if they don't accept it. Sometimes they decline the draw and those are the times I'm talking about and you have to resign. What do you think we should do with the ratings in those situations?
I think the staying player should gain rating as usual as a win... however, the leaving player should have ratings adjusted as if drawn?
