I really like the ambiguity and the tension in not having a clear answer who the winner is. xD
More so with friends, I like to keep that uncertainty intact so no one can gloat over the other.

Rematches not Working & Rematch Etiquette

It should not be a given. I think there are many valid reasons to not want to tiebreak and if you really care so much about knowing who is better....look at the rating?
The idea that anyone is obligated to give a rematch--ever! Is nonsense. If you want to play, play, If you don't want to play, don't play. That's how chess works

I mean, You could probably apply the same reasoning behind MTG game formats, if you want the best of three battle of skill and will that you're looking for, that's the game type. Inversely; I really like best of 1 game types, I find it to be a more real and impacting game mode for me .
(in all games I guess, I can play several best of 1 against the same person, but I'm not usually prepared for that, so, My strategies are better for people who don't know what's coming, I lose advantage if you know my opening, or know my deck archetype, or know my champion pool in league)
Idk
I play to catch people by surprise with things I try and come up with, w/ theory crafting or practice. all for other folks learnign too -- dgm, I just play to one and done, and I'm personally not interested in rematches -- unless it's a friend, then it's a learning experience and less competitive -- thru learning you become rivals, and THAT'S waaaaay cooler than adversarial competitiveness in games, imho -- you learn and grow together, while still keep that competitive flavour in'r -- like, season 1 sasuske naruto shiznit, eh?
Anyone else having this issue?
Also does it peeve anyone off when you lose 1, then rematch, beat the person, then they won't rematch to tie break? That should be a given lol to me.
