Repetition rules
Hello jtmccann15.
That´s because the repetition rule is based on the position, not the movements. It doesn´t matter that you moved the queen to b2 or 3c. After "29 Re4", "31 Re4" and "33 Re4" the position is the same and the player turn si the same.
They DON´T need to ve consecutives positions like this one (29,31,33), and it´s NOT relevant if the move is the same (like Re4 in this case) or different. The only think that matter is the position of the pieces is the same, the player who does the next move is the same, and that the posibilities to castling or capture "en passant" are the same.

"The game is drawn upon a correct claim by the player having the move, when the same position, for at least the third time (not necessarily by a repetition of moves):
a. is about to appear, if he first writes his move on his scoresheet and declares to the arbiter his intention to make this move, or
b. has just appeared, and the player claiming the draw has the move.
Positions as in (a) and (b) areconsidered the same, if the same player has the move, pieces of the same kind and colour occupy the same squares, and the possible moves of all the pieces of both players are the same.
Positions are not the same if a pawn that could have been captured en passant can no longer be captured in this manner. When a king or a rook is forced to move, it will lose its castling rights, if any, only after it is moved."

So I just drew a game by repetition...I was trying to gain time on 5/5...but I mixed up the move and still drew. Can someone explain this?
