resign button

Hi everyone

I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem I have.  In the faster form of chess(5 minutes), when I find myself in a losing position, even with a few minutes to go, I try to resign.  However, many times when I hit the resign button, nothing happens.  This causes my opponents to think I'm conning them when I say that I'm trying to resign.  Do any of you folks have the same problem?  By the way, I connect using Opera.

Try the latest versions of firefox or chrome and delete your temp files/cookies regularly.

heh, yea, opera?  FF is far superior to most browsers.  i've never had that problem with FF.  :)

Hi,

I usually have the same problem, and I always tell my opponent through chat that I can't resign. So I start throwing away what is left of my pieces, lol. I thought at first that the problem is with my unrelaible dial-up connection (56 kbs) which we still use in Syria :(

Try using Firefox and clear recent history (temp files) regularly.

Thank you friends for all your suggestions.

Say to your opponent: "I'm having difficulty with the RESIGN button. Is it working for you?"

If they say: 'No', you're off the hook.

If they say: 'Yes', ...

Don't feed it for a week.

If it survives, then it is a cock.

If it dies, it is a .............. LOL
