Which is better bishop or knight? When to resign?
We just need a 'Who is better? Kasparov or Fischer?'

If there is a chance of stalemate, play on. If there is a chance of a win/draw on time, play on. If you want to see how your opponent finishes you off, play on. I don't worry about playing on if I have a clearly won position, in fact, it is good practice to finish off the game.
There comes a time in a game where you know, there is no hope of winning. You are going to lose the game. Do you resign or continue on? Admittedly i have done both. Do you consider it annoying when you are on the otherside of the board to someone who refuses to resign even though it is plainly obvious they cannot win and yet they refuse to resign?
