1. e4 c5 2. c3 d5 3. exd5 Qxd5 4. d4 e5 5. dxe5 Qxd1+ 6. Kxd1
If they trick you with first playing Nf3, do the same just one move later:
1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. c3 d5 4. exd5 Qxd5 5. d4 e5.
If your opponent does not take on e5 or c5, I usually pin the f3 knight with Bg4, and try to win the d4 pawn.
Bowdler is easy, just Bd7 Bxd7 Qxd7 and you got a normal position without light squared bishops.
Against the Closed Sicilian, I just try to get my usual Scheveningen setup. But I don't know what is your response against the Open Sicilian. Could you please tell me?
Hi, As a sicilian player i have relatively success against mainlines because the plans are clear and we have plenty of example games on the books and courses.
But the authors usually skip giving example games against anti-sicilians.
Which books or courses can I find explained games against the Bowdler, alapin and closed ?
