Watching games from the Sinquefield Cup, it is impossible not to notice in the chat the criticising of top ten players. For example a few people saying Vachier-Lagrave took to long on his second move.

Unlike us amateurs, GMs analyse overwhelming amounts of information before their moves and 2. Nc3 was a surprise. Do these people really think that Vachier-Lagrave was thinking "uh what pieces can I move again?" NO, he was going through huge databanks of memory of the Closed Sicilian and Carlsen's games.

I also saw people calling Nakamura a bad player after his loss to Caruana... #5 in the world... #5. What would happen if he played these critics? They wouldn't be calling him a bad player then!

Also making idiotic move suggestions with simple refutations then saying OMG can't believe a GM missed that when they play a different move... it is maddening to think these gurning buffoons think they saw something a grandmaster didn't... sigh.

Yes, such as the seriously considered opinion that Topalov's move 11. Kf8 instead of 0-0 was a "mouse slip"...
