Returning

Hi, I'm a 16 years old boy who used to play chess here a few months ago. I stopped to play for some reason, then I decided that I want to restart to play, so I created a new account. I've played for only few months, so I'm still very bad, but I hope to become a better player. I have some books, maybe I could ask for advice here.

BTW, since I haven't visited this site for some months, how is it now? I mean, in the past I met some rude players, players who disconnected, players who blitz in turn based games, ecc... I don't know if it's worth playing here. Unfortunately I can't play OTB, because in my chess club there are only 8 years old kids and there are very few OTB tournament where I live, so the way to play chess is most online.
