I've decided to increase the difficulty of the blog training exercises since lower levels are not interested in actually training to get better from what I can observe. For those that do want to get better, you now have access to a training module that will challenge +1500 ELO players.

Tactics Recognition

I started with "Sharpening Your Tactical Radar: A Smarter Way to Train Tactics Recognition" and I will be revamping all training blogs in the near future. Stay tuned...

Mastering Blunder Check - The Botez-Blunder System

"Train Your Inner Alarm: Mastering Blunder Checks" has not been revamped for higher level (advance) players that blunder won games away...that definitely hits home for me.

Pawn Structure & Breaks

"Master Pawn Structure & Breaks: An Advanced Guide", now revamped.

You mean some people don't really care about getting better? That's true. You don't need to be very good to beat 95 percent of the people you meet outside of chess tournaments.

Getting better at chess means devoting more time than most people are willing to do.

What you say is true enough, but there's a never ending "how can I get better" post in the forum that I thought creating 10-minutes training modules would be beneficial to those people asking this question.

In any case, there are some who derive joy in improving their game and truly want to reach their peak level chess, even if that peak is not GM level.

Even if only 1 or 2 find my blog, I'm hoping they help future players who do want to improve their game and help them in achieving their goal of improving their game to the next level.

Yeah, at one time I wanted to get better. But then I realized that what I was trying to achieve was really not worth it. I got much better but still considered beginner to elitists.
