Here's one to crack your brain on a bit. Not really a riddle but anyway.
2 people play a game with 22 coins. They take turns, in eacht turn, a player can take either 1,3 or 4 coins. The player who takes the last coin(s) loses.
If both players play perfect, the person that starts will:
A) Always win
B) Always lose
C) You can't tell
Don't google it, try to work it out. not that hard
I won't say if it's correct :P, you'll need to motivate it.
The problem can be solved from bottom to top. here's the answer. If one coin remains, and it's your turn, you lose, if there's 2 left, you win, if there's 3 left, you lose, etc like this

THE QUESTION: WHO OWNS THE FISH?

1. The Brit lives in a red house.
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.
5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the centre house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.

Is the first house on the left or on the right?

But I think I got it Correct took some effort. maybe excel would've been easier because you have to schedule everything. Then you use elimination. houses that have only two options. Number 5 is either German or Swedish, so you work it all out and German doesn't work, So it has to be Swedish and the Swede owns a dog etc etc etc etc
