Ridiculous puzzle ideas-reference

I am keeping this as a permenant place to keep in contact on puzzle compositions I am working on.

Here is one I am working currently on. It is still in progress, I am trying to toy around with it. Of course, this is unrealistic, but is an aesthetic one becuase it pleases me to create cool positions. This is a thread not really meant for comments by others, but just for me. I will be updating this one....unpredictably.

Why not a blog entry if you're not actually interested in discussion.

I never post blogs and I never will. It is what it is. I didn't say people couldn't discuss, it's just I won't :P

Is g3 correct?

Nope, g3 and c4+ end up being a draw. Smart puzzle, the pawns serve as a deconcentration but if you know the basics of endgames it's pretty easy to spot the best move.

I think that the position after white's first move and black's 1...Ke5 is much more interesting.

My second thought is Kb4, trying to force the black king back and start taking pawns with your king.  Would that be correct?

The puzzle should played from the black side actually, most of the cool moves are from that side after the best move 1.Kb4. I am trying to modify it to make it something like a 25 move forced draw.

Lol. How can we know it's played from black's side...

When I post the completed composition is when youll know. I believe you can feed the OP into the engine and it will give some interesting line.

A blog might be more appropriate because you may attract more "customers" that way. I've written lots of blogs so I do have a clue here. You might find these links interesting:

If it wasn't meant for comments it's possible to either put it in a blog, or you can also keep saving and updating it as a preview.

I forgot about the save/preview option.

Everyone knows e4 is best!

Here is a simple PGN of the OP, Im trying to fix it so that black has some amazing drawing continuation in the mainline.

I hope that this isn't a puzzle you expect me (or anyone else within my rating domain) to solve. Laughing

DrSpudnik

It's not a puzzle. It's probably another computer generated spectacle.
