I don’t think this is the case because the moves I play in the opening to use peoples low development against them usually work that’s probably because at my level there’s no actual gambits but still another reason is lichess has inflated Elo ratings

i dont think it's rigged match-making. it's simply the C WORD.

Yes the website knows which of the millions of accounts can counter your opening so they force them to play you.
If you're playing against opponents of similar strength, you should expect to get outplayed and lose 50% of the time.
That's not suspicious or unusual; that's normal.
And those games where your opponents outplay you - especially in the opening? Those are important games to analyze afterward, to identify your mistakes and learn from them, so you can avoid making them again in the future ...
