Road to Master?

I am currently 16, and I am aiming to gain a master title in a few years. I'm learning more and more every day, and studying by literacy, videos, experience from playing, watching games, reading about classical games etc. and I wanted to know a bit more about the requirements?

I am aware of that you're supposed to enter a FIDE ranked tournament, it's no problem for me but how many games are you supposed to play before you get your rating and how much do you have to be at to get the CM title (2200?)

E: Also wondering if someone is willing to mentor me over Skype?

Have you tried the online coaching at chess.com?

Not too much, just the chess mentor thingies and such but I am reading a great book at the moment. It does help.

I really meant the human coaches who advertise on the chess.com website.

First, I would advise you to ask yourself why you want the master title.

Then, if the answer is because you absolutely love the game of chess -- you should get a coach. Train daily (5-6 days out of the week), based on the regimen that your chess coach creates for you. You will also need to play in tournaments often.
