In the beginning of the game bishops are worth more than rooks, because the rooks are stuck in the corner while the bishops are active, therefore sacrificing rooks for bishops in the beginning of the game would give you an example

I play the English and Dragon lines; always have resentment giving up my dragon bishop.
It’s always funny when the engine doesn’t bite for the dragon bishop and corner rook trade.
Yes that’s what I meant rooks are worth more than bishops in endgames but not it openings
