Simply not the truth things you tell the people here!

One the one hand you played only 1 Minute today on the other today you've won 5 and lost 14.

That makes a winning percent with about 35%.

Calculating every possible range from within those 19 games there the highest % of win from a 7 range is 3, which would be 42% win, for 60% you'd need at least 4 (57%).

So stop fooling the people with things you'd like to be!

Some Women's Chess Soviet Champion said resigning was a sign of respect for chess and your opponent.

If this would be the case here, but isn't. The thread opener has had a dream but nothing more.

I don't think it's rude at all. Look at it this way. If your opponents keep resigning it only means your playing well.

This guy's seriously complaining about his opponents resigning??
He wants to practice his endgame technique with 4 extra pawns?

Nowhere near as rude as posting with an image of a half-naked girl on a site with 13-year-olds!

It's possible some people want to experiment with the opening.  Maybe you need to find some regular players that agree not to resign... but then they may not be into the game if it becomes too much work.

You all make good points which I will take under advisement.

I only speak of OTB games. Here I play bullet. not much resign.

Avatar of SonOfThunder2

Not much resign

we just lose on time,

it quickly ticks away

when we most need it to stay!

But I guess that's life

of the bullet chess a game of strife,

you don't think I know?

Trust me when I say so

bullet chess is monkey chess

but a high like weed is much, much less

so that's the only reason to confess

of why I play bullet chess

It's better to resign if the position is lost for you - otherwise you're wasting your energy and your opponent's time.  But resigning too early is indeed possible. For example -

I think people dont resign enough here. if im in a losing position, why am I going to continue? I do once in awhile if my opponent plays a great sacrifice for a mate.. but they can always just finish game without me..so why torture yourself playing out losing position? I probably resign too much, miss out on potential draws.. but it depends on the game if I go for draw or not. rather get a W or L.

Of course, she knew nothing about chess.

OTB.. I would resign but then just go through the endgame for respect for my opponent. quicker endgame when the game is over already! lol
