I just had a question on the FIDE (or indeed any other) rules. In Chess.com live chess, if your opponent times out but you have insufficient material to mate your opponent, the game results in a draw. I was just wondering whether the same was true in a FIDE tournament or just any match. Thanks in advance.

Yes, the same is true for FIDE games.
