Are you asking:''What is the ''0.86''?'' these aree computer evaluations for the position if it is a positive number (0.01+) there is an advantage for white.
if it is a negative number(0.01-) there is an advantage for black.
Remember pawn worth 1.If white is up a pawn then the engine will show (+1.00)and higher.
I am using Ryb4 for multiprocessors with the Shredder interface.I usually set up my engine with time controls of something like 480'/40+240'/20+120'.In my move box Ryb shows my moves and my opponents corresp moves that I plugged in like it should. But later in the game,it sometimes all by itelf goes into this evaluation mode and keeps the clocks on like a start-reset time mode instead of what I want or had which is to use up and count down all available used time.It shows for example...(%emt 0:52:42) or (%eval 0,0).Yet,earlier in the game,it does not have this. And then the clocks seem to start or reset themselves.I don't want this! Can this be eradicated somehow? Some of my games DO NOT have this.So why is this happening?
So again, let me reiterate....my game moves show for example....24.Bxd4 0.86/21 4:24 exd4 0.86/22 3 then all of a sudden it might go into some kind of evalution mode and start using the %emt mode with new clock settings on both sides. So it might have had only 5 hours left with normal clock countdowns, then it suddenly switches to this other eval mode with a clock "reset"to new hours EACH move!Whats going on here?
