When i use this option after analyzing a game, where can i view the analysis again?

Sorry, will transfer to help and support soon

Open the game in your archive with a web browser, not app.

Click on the computer analysis button (the one with a computer and magnifying glass). A second browser tab will open for game analysis.

The self analysis tab will be displayed. Click on the computer analysis tab if necessary.

i mean, if i have the computer analyze a game, there is an option to save the computers analysis

where does the saved one go?

manekapa

It’s saved with your archived game.

When you click on the computer analysis tab (the one with a computer and a magnifying glass), you should see the last computer analysis for that game.

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

Not that I know of. You would have to save the PGN from the analysis board to a text file.

In this case, what does the save analysis button do?

It saves analysis on games you played at chess.com.

If you want to save analysis on a position which is not your game, you have to download the PGN and save it to your device or computer.

but there is still an option to save analysis

what happens if i click the button?

EDIT:
If you're saving an analysis with the analysis board (Learn > Analysis), this link explains how to access the saved analysis:

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

no, when i analyse a game from an otb tournament (i manually enter the moves), i still have the option to save the analysis

EDirga

I appreciate Chess.com working on the ability to have a computer analyze games to help with our chess skills, but as the picture above points out, it has a long way to go. Qe1 is good enough for mate.

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

um, no

that says that Qe1 is played by the person who got mated, not the checkmater

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

no i'm talking about the yellow "save" or "save analysis" (i don't remember which) button

How do I save an analysis?

You can save any of your self analysis lines by clicking on the 'save' button in analysis:

file-hL5bnSCPAd.pngWhen you are in a Daily game, and enter self analysis, the save button will appear once you make some moves. If you find a line you like, you can click 'save' to make sure you can view the line later.

You can find your saved analysis by going to your archive and clicking on 'saved analysis' on the right menu.
