Most important is to play ...c6 so as to retreat ...Qc7.

But then what the point of going to the centre early for the queen if we have to retreat after some temporary stay. Can my queen not stay there forever till day time is over.
The point of the scandinavian is to destroy the white central pawn e4.
The queen has to retreat, as she is unsafe in the center.

You could also play the Scandinavian modern variation, in that line you either do not develop the queen to the centre or you do and it is much safer for her there

I can spot that the queen is taking e4 pawn. Maybe i am thinking too philosophically and also trying to play philosophically.

In this game my opponent was playing modern variation. I like my Bb5 move early in the opening

Yes 3 Bb5+ is one of the refutations of the so called modern variation.
Top players capture 2...Qxd5 and then play ...c6 to have a queen retreat to c7. The plan is ...Bf5, ...e6, ...Nf6, ...Bd6, ...O-O, ...Nbd7
