Selling Vacation Days in "Online Chess."

Hello all!  So with all the discussion about "vacation time" in online chess, perhaps we need some new approaches to vacation days.  I have an idea that will really make things easier on the already-stressed-out players on here.

And such is this:  Players should be able to buy and sell their accrued "vacation" days to each other, or otherwise transfer vacation time from one account to another. 

Let's say that Player A has only 10 vacation days.  Player B has 90 saved up.  Player B should be able to "sell" his vacation days to Player A under any arrangement they work out.  Thus if Player A buys all Player B's days, Player A will then have 100 vacation days, and Player B will have zero.

Furthermore, the cap of 90 days of vacation accrued is ridiculous and needs to be abolished.  Ninety days is nowhere near enough in today's busy society.

So what do you think of the ideas?  How soon can we get these implemented?

Not really.  I don't see what the big deal is -- I personally enjoy it when my opponents go on "vacation," because then I don't have the worry about the game either.  It's as if I go on "vacation" myself, like cruising the beaches of Rio de Janeiro for some hot Jewish Brazilian chicks!

Now you know this isnt going to happen.....lol

It's a good idea right?  It'll be a better and more efficient way to allocated the finite resource of "vacation days."  From those who have them but don't need them to those that need them and don't have them.  Let the market decide.

what about tournaments...  a single troll could gum up the works indefinitely.

My comment was about the "hot" nature of South American Jewish chicks.  I guess the administration saw fit to delete it.  I myself hoped to educate the masses with the information.  Not everyone on this site is familiar with just how sexy South American Jewish chicks are!

I'm still wondering how the money transfer will work?   

Well the money part would be of secondary concern.  What we need is a way for accounts to transfer vacation days amongst themselves.  Like let's say I have 50 days but I really don't play "on line" games, but my friend is involved in several games and wants to take some time off, but doesnt have enough 'vacation' time accrued.  So I give him a few days from my account.

no i disliked this idea. In mine game i am queen up with a 1928 player and if i win my group wins. But he has closed his accound and he has 87 days of vacation. I need to wait for this time to have a win on time. So digusting.

I enjoy it more, when I can play my games. If I start to worry about the games I stop staring new ones and finish the old ones.

Does that mean those vacation days are going to be available in the market?

The next development needs to be pocket knights on sale, and queens that can jump over pieces.

Like Khoai (an admin/staff) said, in individual cases of abuse, the staff can step in and adjudicate the game.  Like when someone closes his account leaving 500 vacation days.  (which he probably should have sold before he quit).

In your normal everyday case, I don't see why vacation days should not be transferred freely between accounts, and why the cap of ninety (90) days should not be lifted.

Let see 5 million players on the site, 87 days of free vacation to distrubute. That would give us all about 57 seconds apiece.  How do you add 57 seconds to all the accounts????

Awful idea...if I had my way I'd limit the amount of vacation time people have, not allow them to increase it. I'm sick of starting tournies only to have them delayed for months due to vacation time. Can't understand the argument regarding enjoying the break from a game when ur opponent goes on holiday either, if it's so enjoyable , don't play at all.

Horrible idea. Also, I think vacation time should max out at 30 days. 

I don't really understand where you are going with this.  I like you, but I think you might be missing the point?  Or, am I missing your point?  Could you please elaborate on your post a bit more?  Thanks.
