Speed chess is NOT recommended for beginners as it doesn't give enough time to think. It's mostly based on intuition and fast calculating skills which develops over the years. So I suggest you to play Rapid.

I don’t believe that blitz/bullet makes you improve. I bet they learned something online tried it, it worked then kept going.
Speed chess is more of a guaranteed way of playing without wasting a great deal of your life and personal time playing against a player using software…..all you have to do is start up a game on titans or something like that and play your opponents move on titans ….you simply play what titans plays against your opponent here. The chances of being banned is slim as there’s a hi probability of cheating reports….do you believe the people on here are checking every game? No. So i disagree with toast bread…play speed chess. More chance of a real game
I just gained a lot of rating points in just two months like 500 rating. My recommendation is blitz and bullet .
