SF 250814MZ (Stockfish) wins the 2015 2nd annual World Chess Engines knockout Championship (Informal) beating the strong Stockfish DD in the final 12 game match........the final 16 engines were Strelka 6 w32....Karpov Szint.......Firenzina 2.4.1.......SF 270414IPx ..Stockfish 5 ...Houdini IDeA ......Deep Saros 2.3e1.........Strelka 5.5........Stockfish VE09.........Stockfish 4..........Deep Rybka 4....Szint Petrosian........Fire 3.0........Stockfish DD......Robbolito Tao4.........Big suprises in the final 16 were Deep Rybka 4 Houdini IDeA and Deep Saros 2.3e1.........The precise play of the two stockfishes allowed them to make the final match were the Stockfish SF 250824MZ was able to slightly outplay the other Stockfish DD and win the championship! Now begins the "reign of the Stockfishes and most importantly....the "clones" of the numerous Stockfish engines already in circulation......what chess engine will break the hammerlock of the Stockfishes on the top tier of the chess engine world?
