should en passant exist?

the pawn's two-square move sometimes helps me a lot. en passant does too, actually, because it can stop the advantage of opponents' two-square pawn move. but i just want to know your opinions, should en passant exist or not?

to be honest no, its very odd, if pawns capture diagonally why would they capture in a different way?

Just like there shouldn’t be en passant so to there shouldn’t be the 2 square move. En passant is a defense for that
