Levy is literally the face of chess on Youtube and it's not even close.
So, in this case something is wrong either with Youtube (other than the passive mode of learning via watching videos, which does not work for 95%+ of the people), or the quality of his content.
How can someone watch a "sacrifice the roooooooook" video and not gain at least 80 rating points at once?
40 years ago, Levy would be the absolute star of a Chess Circus. And while he can certainly do more than selling third grade American humour (e.g. his How to Win at Chess book is quite decent, and certainly enough vastly more educative than all of his streaming content) I'm afraid he can retain his legendary status only by keeping on streaming utter junk on Youtube.
should he?
Would he? Could he?
