should i feel bad?

I was playing a game, and even though the computer states inaccuracies or mistakes I was setting my position up to go for an early mating attack. with that being said, I saw a potential King and Queen fork with my knight. my knight was safe on the forking square from all except his rook that I over looked. that knight should have been taken but he didn't see that and moved his King instead blundering away his Queen. I went on to checkmate fairly easily with multiple piece and pawn coordination. I can't help but feel bad, like I shouldn't feel happy about that win. thoughts?

No. If your opponent makes a mistake, then that's that.

You should feel bad about feeling bad.  Save your guilt and pity for things worthy of guilt and pity -- basically anything other than a chess game.

Don't worry, I think your opponent feels worse

No. It would be the same as asking if your opponent should feel bad capturing your knight with his rook (that you overlooked) ? So don't feel bad in that situation - fell lucky instead.

Lee, mate, that was just downright mean of you. Haven't you got any conscience at all?  And please wipe that smile off your face. Smile

Don't believe him, LeeTaylor85!  There's no proof of that.  In fact, Jesus probably only says stuff like that because he knows his daddy will give him a divine whipping if he ever says anything "unbecoming of a demigod."

I imagine having God for a dad can be rough, even beyond being forced to pretend to love people you don't.  Imagine being forced to listen to boring prayers, not being allowed to cut your hair or shave your beard, not being allowed to wear anything but a robe...
