I don't understand why most everybody here insists on playing thousands of games of blitz and then complain when they blunder and don't improve.
Should I Quit?

Solution.
Play unrated vs lower rated - There is no pressure, you play what you feel like playing and be able at still win most of the times. It's great. Only problem is when you happen to lose vs low rated and he thinks you played seriously and he starts bragging about it lol.
Play chess variants its fun.

I dont play blitz and bullet chess. I want to win by playing good and brilliant moves. And I dont mind losing if my opponent outsmarted me. In blitz and bullet for U1800, terrible blunders and running out of time decides the winner.

Play slow chess and see your progress in attack and defense. Challenge yourself to become the better player.

I don't really care about winning anymore. That's not the issue.

I have reasons I only play slow chess OTB. That's all I'll really say on that.

You need to be playing against opponents of the right sort of level so you win when you play well but lose when you play badly (and sometimes draw, of course).
It is no fun either winning all the time or losing all the time.
Slower (daily) chess will usually involve blundering in a less obvious way, e.g. you do not see a deep tactic or leave yourself a relatively weak pawn structure which gets exploited etc. And you will also have time to plan how to take advantage if your opponent leaves himself weaknesses.
You can also use the opening explorer in daily chess so you won't lose simply because your opponent knows an opening you don't, or you can play chess960 which means there is no opening theory and you can plan the moves.
I prefer 2 day so I can skip an occasional day completely, and to have no more than about 6 concurrent games so I can give them my proper attention.
Some players have over 100 current daily games and that must give me an advantage over them even if they are better players. Of course if they are chess masters or grandmasters they will beat me anyway, but these players are not.

what I did-- I was just like you- I HATED this site... but- don't go on every day unless you have a game to win. you get sick of it... but winning is good! keep winning!

Give it time and have a good think about whether to continue with chess. I say this because currently your judgement is clearly impaired. You chose Sisko as an avatar when Kirk, Picard or even Janeway would have been better. Only Archer would have been a worse choice.

It just gets me away from the shallowness of blitz and puts it more in my hands.

Basically I don't get any enjoyment out of winning anymore because winning feels like something I'm supposed to do and I hate it when I lose, especially when I blunder. In fact after I blunder I just lose all interest in a game and just resign. The idea of beating my opponent on the clock or trying some kind of comeback just doesn't appeal to me anymore. Nigel Short says you need a killer instinct to play chess. But I don't really have one. It's not really the competition that attracts me to the game anyway.
I could play slower time controls but for personal reasons I simply can't play correspondence chess or longer blitz time controls. I also don't have any way to play OTB at the moment.
Honestly I only like playing strong moves in chess but in 3 minute games I unfortunately can't do that. So is there just no reason for me to play anymore?
