I held the door for a guy at the gas station yesterday and he didn't even say thank u or smile or nod. He just had a hateful look. Thats a hate crime isn't it?

It bothers you? Report and move on. It's not like it's going to fundamentally change the laws of time if you don't report. This also happened very long ago, so I would just let it go, but you do you.

The insult has nothing to do with you coming from America. If, for example, you had been from Norway, you would have been called a Norwegian loser. Either way, it was an insult, and bad sportsmanship from the player. Report the player.

@nordvind — of course it has everything to do with being American, else he would JUST have said loser. The purpose of an otherwise pointless adjective is to emphasize a point. If someone calls me a stupid woman, which they have, they are emphasizing my femaleness, or else they would just call me an idiot. Clearly the person doesn’t like Americans—which, you know, can be understandable.
