i have severe adhd, and usually simple stimulants help me focus, but this makes me have an unfair advantage against people that play with me, since i can focus way more when on medication. should i have another account that i use specifically for playing chess while on my adhd meds? or should i stop playing fully?

Suggest:  Don't feel guilty about playing while on medication and being 'helped' that way.
In the Olympics - many athletes are disciplined because they got 'help' from some kind of banned substance.
In a chess Olympiad would you be disqualified and your games lost because you were taking a prescribed medication ?
That seems so Unlikely !!
Would one even be disqualified from a chess whatever because of being on an illegal medication ??

I imagine they could and would throw you out if 'you' and your breath stinked of pot.  Whether its legal in the place concerned or not. ...
But that's not pot that you're using - its prescribed medication you Need !

No, you should continue playing. You are just…. You. Don’t be apologetic at all. Chess may be helpful in teaching your brain to focus. You can play me anytime, and I will wish you well.
