One advantage of Lichess is that you can do an unlimited number of puzzles without paying for a subscription. (You can also solve puzzles without registering, but then they don't adapt to your level.)
It also has a few interesting blogs, such as grandmaster Noël Studer's blog, grandmaster Avetik Grigoryan's blog and NDPatzer's blog (check the "Science of Chess" series of blog posts).
ngl I only use chesscom for forums, everything else is better on lichess

I think lichess is great at testing new openings and tactics, meanwhile, chess.com is where you use those new openings and tactic

i use lichess to test out openings and play when i don't want to lose rating here

I am currently playing better on Lichess than this site. 1380 Rapid currently on Lichess, whereas I have been regressing on cc and suffering tilt, or something very like it. Ok, the rating system is different there, but there are people on cc who think if your rating is below 1000 that it's a mark of retardation or at least laziness.
why did you revive this?
