Most players on Chess.com doesn't play OTB tournaments in real life unless they are really dedicated to Chess. It does seem unfair that you can premove in online games so if that person is a new OTB player, he will have hard time in the start when playing blitz or bullet in OTBs
Should Premoves be Allowed?

OTB you can see your opponents moves and anticipate your move fast. In online games you cannot see your opponents devious moves so yes pre moves should be allowed.

online and otb are two diff things
Same game, just played on different platforms

Yes and no. Online chess and Otb are very much different, I wouldn't even consider certain time controls the same game. Time controls that I love such as hyper bullet, and ultra imo are too different to compare to otb classical.

but you can't premove irl
In IRL chess, you see your opponent reach for a piece, pick it up, put it down, and hit the clock. All this gives you time to think and react.
Online the move just appears and your clock is already ticking. Premoves are a clumsy way to compensate for that.
I mean realistically premoves have saved me multiple times, especially in bughouse, but you can't premove irl, so should it be considered cheating since it doesn't apply to OTB?
