The 50 move rule shouldn't exist!

Didn't realize this thread had been bumped relatively recently (haven't checked My-Topics in a while).
Lots of discussion going on in the "chess will never be solved thread" about this. There will likely be more and more longer tablebase wins discovered when it expands to 8 pieces, one was already found at 584 moves (but unrealistic as it had 2 dark squared bishops on the board).
In this game one of the players would win on time without the 50 move rule.
In this, the players would just agree on a draw.
