Should your best win be on time?

When I scroll through the many profiles chess.com has, I look at their online chess rating. It has a section under it called "best win". Now, what I have noticed is that many people's best wins were wins on time. This applys to the majority of the profiles that I have seen on chess.com. Now, the true question. Should these wins be counted as best wins? They aren't legitimant wins, your opponent just timed out. You could have been losing that game for all you know. I am not criticizing people that have a best win on time, but I am saying that it shouldn't be classified as a best win if you win on time. What do you think?

My "best win" in an online game here at chess.com was one won on time.  I don't really like this.

You have no control over whether or not your opponent times out.

Suppose you are facing a much higher-rated opponent, and play a wonderful game, far above your rated strength. You establish a clearly won position... and your opponent just sits there until he flags.

Should this game be disqualified as a "best win"?

Yes, it all depends on whether you were winning when his flag fell.

There shord be a option to pick your best win in the case higth rate opponent times out on you leving you with best win mark that you can win by checkmate.

Yeah I like looking at best wins too and it's kinda dissappointing when it's just a win on time...

If the player had to think that long to make a move then it was probably because of the complications and pressure I introduced into the game....

I should get credit for that....
