"So, what are you doing later today?"

"I'm gonna go to Chess club at three."

"Oh, I'm in that club!"

"I run the Chess Club and I've never seen you."

^Yeah, that just happened! Guys what do you think the odds are that he's going to show up today? I asked him to come play a game today. We'll see...

Though, I had a non-chesser ask me to teach her how to play. I agreed. And she showed up! So, looks like she's for real. :)

@but I taught 15 people how to play chess before I cracked 500 rated. I must have done a trbl job because they are all trbl.

I copied and pasted the fen into the chess.com game insert option and laughed- I think your posting the fen code was in respsonse to "looks like your music teacher was desribing a blitz game there".

HUH?? Is that supposed to spell something? I'm awake and have had my breakfast but I don't know what the heck that is! Some kinda chess crop circle thing? 

(Still doesn't beat the time when Live Chess glitched and gave my opponent two kings. lol)

Once I played as Black, and one of my pawns was on f2. I could not move it. I lost the game due to the hole in my defense D-:X

And this is the second game in one week that I lost on time. ahhhhh!

Figures. Lol. The person I'm teaching has showed up to the club meeting at my school and twice during the week before school. I think I found a legit learner. :)

And today at a chess tournament:

Unrated: "Do we need to use the clock?"

Me: Yes.

UNR: Have to?

Me: Yes. And you have to take notation too.

UNR: No, I don't.

TD: Anyone above 3rd grade and playing in a rated division has to use chess notation.

Me: *hands paper over to him*

Me: *proceeds to give a queen up in the game and mate him after like 25 moves of perfect play on my part* *something like this*

^^^Last time I give a queen to an unrated. Two mistakes on my part, and four on his. I won that game...barely
