Sicilian - Rossolimo variation

Hello everyone, I have played over 3,000 games in the Sicilian Defense with the black pieces, and I’m sometimes surprised by how many players choose the Rossolimo Variation against 2...Nc6. I don’t see it as ambitious; rather, it feels more like a way to restrict Black’s development and plans. What’s your opinion?

Yes it some passive but if you have problems with this you can get Play it with Komodo or see it in Lichess with Stockfish Or usually see games of strong players and GMs
