Silly question of the day: If Magnus played the Englund against an IM who wins?

I still say the IM, Carlsen is great (why he wouldn't play such a silly opening) and part of the greatness isn't being cocky enough to play 1...e5 against 1.d4.  He can get cocky sometimes, he played the 3.Nf3 King's Gambit against a 2700+ (and won too!) and even the Nc3 King's Gambit (and even managed to draw with it! Cool) against a 2500+ player.  Even he however won't touch a Latvian or Englund.

There is way to much play left for carlsen, the IM needs to make 40 good moves still. I say carlsen. If its not lost great players are very hard to beat.

If an IM is a 2400 and Magnus is 2800, is 400 rating points worth a pawn?

I think yes, so worst case scenario Magnus just gives up the pawn for nothing and plays the rest of the game a pawn down. And wins.

Well I know a 700 beat a 1900 with the Englund gambit :D :D :D

Some people here will know what I'm referring too.

If I know the Englund trap then I think Carlsen might know it too
