Anybody have any advice on how to get out of a bad slump? I've lost a lot of rating points and haven't won a game in a while, only draws and losses.

Take a hike along the coast or mountain trail. It works even on other problems.

Play the dragon sicilian. Hard to draw.

I'm just now coming off one. I start playing like I never saw the game before. Best I can offer is to take a brief break from the game, make sure you get enough regular exercise and try not to focus on negative past results.

Yes, you can do it. Have a week off to chess, it's for you to get the hunger back from the game. This way, you can train again with passion as you missed it the whole week.

If you want to have more efficient comeback, take a month off to chess! :D

I've had slumps before. Try not to get mad at it during games.
