Snazzy Carlsen game - October 2008

Here's a nice game from Carlsen against Almira Skripchenko-Lautier from the Cap d'Agde tournament. Carlsen hangs a lot of material (intentionally), but maneouvres his minor pieces very well indeed, and demonstrates the advantages of mobility.

Hhhmmm very clever! He really is going to be the future world champion some day i see that happening and a dynamic one as Kasparov was.

Yes, I think so too. I should point out as well that 37...Bf5?? was a pretty massive blunder.

I would never try to even begin to analyze that game in a lifetime.  It really looks to me like Carlsen is saying, your style of play bores me - let me teach you how to really play chess! :-)

He's not a bad player is he? I Look forward to playing him in a future world championship match!
